Community Meeting: April 1, 2008

1. 2007 Budget review of carry over
2. 2008 Budget review and vote
3. Update on association standings such as;
a. Dues
b. Covenant rules
c. Taxes
d. Street lighting
e. Mowing of common areas
f. Neighbor hood picnic
g. Neighbor hood cleanup day
h. Neighbor hood garage sale
i. Dead tree removal from cul-de-sac
4. Open issues
Meeting Notes:
- 2007 budget was closed on.
- 2008 budget was voted on by the 12 people who attended the meeting.
- Mowing service quote by B & B was the same as last year and will be re-awarded to them.
- Non-payment of dues from approximately 50% if the homeowners. Year-end actions to send letters and or other means such as legal to bring into compliance.
- Enforcement of covenants. Several homes have brought their sheds into compliance with association guidelines.
- Several street lighting proposals were discussed tonight. Several areas such as cost, short and long-term gains, and taxes were reviewed. Lights are to create a safer environment and uniformity to the overall neighborhood appearance. Still awaiting cost estimates from the power company.
- Discussed neighbor hood projects for next year, such as creek cleanup, walking trail enhancements, installing steps to the play ground just like the ones on the east side going to the board walk. Also, front entrance improvements by adding flowers and wood chips.
- Community cleanup is planned for May 3.
- Community picnic is planned for June 7.
- Community yard sale is planned for June 6-7.
Meeting was adjourned with the next schedule board meeting TBD.
